The Perfect Match, Kindle Fire HD & MediBang Paint!

Recently I found a way to use my Kindle Fire as a drawing monitor tablet by installing on it MediBang Paint, a program that is FREE and similar to Photoshop. My tablet didn’t come with a pressure-sensitive pen, so I bought a precision disc stylus and was pleasantly surprised to see how well it worked. The drawing lines are not as precise as I would like them to be since I wasn’t able to use a pressure-sensitive pen, but still, I am beyond thrilled with the outcome. (MediBang Paint DOES HAVE pressure sensitive and palm rejection settings). Using MediBang Paint on a Kindle Fire(or any table)is an excellent budget-friendly way to create digital artwork! BTW I dedicate this piece to all cat owners that know their beloved companions will always find joy in a simple cardboard box.

Sketching Sunday

Today I went to the Figure in Plaster and Paper exhibition featuring the works of Manuel Neri at The Yale University Art Gallery . While in there, I decided to create a couple of quick sketches from the Ancient Greek and African permanent collections.
